Philippe Depeyrot / Master Stylist

Philippe Depeyrot began his career in 1985 at Jean-Louis Desforges International Academy in Paris, France where he became the youngest instructor and hairdresser in the company at the age of 20. Philippe’s career has grown over the last 35 years to include working with numerous celebrities from around the world — from clothing designers and actresses to political figures and celebrity hairdressers. He has participated in New York Fashion Week and Bridal Fashion Week, as well as editorial work in magazines.

Among celebrities Philippe has styled are Kim Basinger, Lynda Carter, Ali McGraw, Kathy Bates and Bob Woodward. Television shows he's had the pleasure of being involved with include Fashion Emergency! and the Larry King Show. Additionally, Philippe has worked with designers Marchesa, Thakoon, Monique Lhullier, Zac Posen, Altuzarra and Jason Wu, to name a few. Hairdressers Philippe has had the opportunity to learn from and be influenced by over the years include Oscar Bond, Cristophe, Vivienne MacKinder, Matthew Morris, Orlando Pita, Sonja and Christopher Dove, Bruno Pittini, Odile Gilbert — as well as many others.

In 2014 Philippe joined the Kerastase Tech Team to become one of their platform artists and national educators, allowing him to travel the country sharing his expertise.

Even with all the glamour of these opportunities, Philippe has come to realize his true passion since opening Salon Bisoux, which he describes as having "provided me with endless boundaries to my creativity. Every day I meet great people who change my life. It was behind the chair that I met my wife, Krista. I get to to touch people's lives. I believe it is my responsibility as a leader to shape the next generation of hairdressers — to meet and mentor excited, aspiring individuals who will become the leaders of tomorrow in my industry".

When you ask Philippe what is the first thing he notices about a client, his answer is simple, "Everything! I scan from head to toe — hair, makeup, jewelry, shoes. Doing so gives me an idea right away of style and presence".

Krista Depeyrot / Master Colorist

Krista is a native of the Washington DC area. She first became interested in working in hair while modeling for hair magazines and photo shoots as a teen. She had the privilege of working with celebrated hairdressers and enjoyed being involved in the industry at a young age.

After attending college in the study of sciences, Krista decided to focus on a career in the hair industry. She started her career in Georgetown at Bruno Dessange, quickly becoming one of the top colorists there at the age of 22. Shortly thereafter, she joined the team of celebrity stylist Cristophe at his downtown DC salon and spent 18 years working as their top producing colorist. Krista is excited to have a place of her own with her stylist husband, Philippe.

In hair coloring, Krista found the perfect balance between the creativity of expressing oneself through the art of hair color and her background in science. She is a celebrated colorist in the area and has been featured as one of “Six DC Style-Setters” by DC Modern Luxury, “Best Colorist” in Allure magazine, “A Who’s Who of Colorist’s” in Town and Country, as well as a Top Colorist in Washingtonian many times over. She has had the opportunity to be featured on “Fashion Emergency” on E! with Philippe, the BBC, Discovery Health, and MTV. She is blessed with the best clients a colorist could ask for-Washington movers and shakers, and everybody in between.

Krista is fluent in English & French.

April Campbell / Colorist

April had a sense from the beginning that she belonged at Bisoux — all her life she realized she was creative, but had not yet found her outlet. She joined the team as an assistant and quickly rose in the ranks to assist Krista in the color department. Shortly thereafter, she signed up for the apprenticeship program and has earned her stripes under the tutelage of Krista, a Master Colorist. She assisted at Bisoux for four years before earning her license. April has further enriched her knowledge as a colorist by attending both Balayage and color mastery classes in SoHo at the L’Oreal Professional Academy. She is also a member of the Kerastase Ambassador team. April has become a favorite of the guests of Bisoux, and is passionate about Balayage!
