Salon Bisoux (Bee-szoo) offers a modern ambiance with a warm atmosphere to help you unwind and relax. Philippe Depeyrot / Master Stylist
Philippe Depeyrot is a native of Nantes, France. At the age of fifteen, he became an apprentice in haircutting and styling. After moving to Paris to work for Jean-Louis DesForges as the youngest teacher in the academy and salon, he worked in fashion shows, television, print and upcoming collections.
Philippe was recruited by Bruno Dessange and worked in Georgetown for 5 years, where he met his wife, Krista, before moving to Cristophe Salon in DC where they stayed for over 18 years. He has had the pleasure of training with Bruno Pittini, Orlando Pita, Christopher & Sonya Dove, Vivienne MacKinder, Odile Gilbert and worked with celebrity clients from around the political and entertainment realms.
In 2013 Philippe was invited to join the Kerastase TECH Team as an educator and a Platform Artist. In 2018, he joined Shu Uemura as an educator. He travels back and forth to NYC regularly to style models for the Spring & Fall Fashion Weeks as well as other high fashion industry events. Despite his high profile career, you can most regularly find him behind his chair at Salon Bisoux, styling the hair of his favorite clients in the DC metropolitan area.

Michelle Jenkins / Master Stylist
As a 27 year veteran in the beauty industry, Michelle enjoys working with all hair types and textures. She translates her love of science, art, design and fashion into precision as well as creative haircutting. She takes pride in her honest, direct manner in order to craft a look that will work for each individual client.
Education has always been a passion for Michelle. As a result, she has been a Cutting Instructor, Master Stylist and Assistant Principle at Vidal Sassoon Academy; an educator for Nexxus; and certified & a graduate of the Phiten YUKO Academy for Japanese hair straightening. She is certified by Hairdreams for extensions and Phyto for relaxers; organizes professional trainings for other stylists; and travels around the country to keep current on the latest techniques.
Michelle earned her cosmetology license at age 17 and has turned her passion for beauty into a true art form.
Valerie Carrasquillo / Master Stylist
Valerie has made a name for herself in the Washington DC area with over 20 years of experience in the hair industry. She believes it is important to share new techniques and the latest trends with her guests to provide the best and most current looks for them. She uses hair as her canvas, bringing a distinctive aesthetic and fresh approach to draw out each client's unique beauty-she is an architect with her shears! In addition to being a master of cutting and styling, Valerie specializes in Greatlengths, Socap, Hairdreams hair extensions. Valerie enjoys giving equally great service to everyone, from "the girl next door" to local and national celebrities. She has been featured in Washingtonian Magazine Great Hair Issue, and her work highlighted in D.C. Modern Luxury, Washingtonian 2017, Washington Life, DC Style magazine, D.C. Guest of the Guest, Washingtonian Bride and Groom, and Miss Earth USA.
As Valerie puts it, “I believe that honesty, patience, and creativity work together to produce beautiful results. Whether I'm there to style hair, sculpt, or create an illusion, I feel I'm there to complete the picture".
Roxana Velez / Master Stylist
Roxana is passionate about all types of hair.
Her jovial disposition and cheerful personality make for a delightful experience coupled with great service. She participates in shows at the world renowned International Beauty Show in NYC and at Graham Webb Academy to ensure that her skills are the highest level.
Roxana joins us after 18 years in the industry, having come from some of the most distinguished salons in the DC area – Elizabeth Arden Red Door and Cristophe Salon to mention a few. She is now happily ensconced at Salon Bisoux with a wonderful clientele that has followed her here from far and wide.

Liz Mackiewicz / Stylist
Liz has a passion for art and design that has driven her career as a stylist for nearly 10 years. Prior to completing Cosmetology school in Boston, MA, Liz studied art and interior design at the New England Art Institute. She continued to hone her passion for hair in New Mexico, taking classes which concentrated on dry cutting curly hair, barbering techniques, updos, and razor cuts taught by Davines, Goldwell, Wella and Paul Mitchell educators. Over the past four years, Liz has also worked for the film union styling tresses for several tv and movie sets. Because of her desire to use more natural products, she launched her own hair treatment line using clean ingredients and essential oils.
Liz understands the importance of creating one of a kind styles, considering your face shape, lifestyle and personality. She loves creating modern, textured looks and pays especially close attention to the health and natural texture of your hair.
Johnny Rogers / Stylist
Johnny fell in love with the art of hair at an early age, learning how to braid and play with hair in different ways. Thanks to his supportive mother’s instruction, he began styling at the young age of six.
Johnny has had a long and winding journey through the beauty industry. He has worked in several capacities over the past eight years, including exploring his talents as a makeup artist.
After completing his apprenticeship at Salon Bisoux, Johnny passed his state boards with flying colors and received his cosmetology license. He has taken classes at the L’Oréal Soho Academy in NYC, and plans on continuing the investment in his skills with further education. Johnny has had the experience of being a Kerastase Brand Ambassador, and soon will have the honor of being a Brand Ambassador for Shu Eumura.
Johnny strives to continue his education and passion for styling & cutting and looks forward to taking care of you in his chair!
Krista Depeyrot / Master Colorist
Krista is a native of the Washington DC area. She first became interested in working in hair while modeling for hair magazines and photo shoots as a teen. She had the privilege of working with celebrated hairdressers and enjoyed being involved in the industry at a young age.
After attending college in the study of sciences, Krista decided to focus on a career in the hair industry. She started her career in Georgetown at Bruno Dessange, quickly becoming one of the top colorists there at the age of 22. Shortly thereafter, she joined the team of celebrity stylist Cristophe at his downtown DC salon and spent 18 years working as their top producing colorist. Krista is excited to have a place of her own with her stylist husband, Philippe.
In hair coloring, Krista found the perfect balance between the creativity of expressing oneself through the art of hair color and her background in science. She is a celebrated colorist in the area and has been featured as one of “Six DC Style-Setters” by DC Modern Luxury, “Best Colorist” in Allure magazine, “A Who’s Who of Colorist’s” in Town and Country, as well as a Top Colorist in Washingtonian many times over. She has had the opportunity to be featured on “Fashion Emergency” on E! with Philippe, the BBC, Discovery Health, and MTV. She is blessed with the best clients a colorist could ask for-Washington movers and shakers, and everybody in between.

Greta Fernandez / Master Colorist
Greta started her career as a colorist 18 years ago when she trained with our very own Krista for 2 years at Cristophe. She continued on to great success at top salons throughout the DC area such as Cristophe, Red Door, Erwin Gomez and Salon Bleu. She creates beautiful and complex tones whether you are a gorgeous blonde, sumptuous brunette or ravishing red head. April Campbell / Colorist
April had a sense from the beginning that she belonged at Bisoux — all her life she realized she was creative, but had not yet found her outlet. She joined the team as an assistant and quickly rose in the ranks to assist Krista in the color department. Shortly thereafter, she signed up for the apprenticeship program and has earned her stripes under the tutelage of Krista and Greta, both Master Colorists. She assisted at Bisoux for four years before earning her license. April has further enriched her knowledge as a colorist by attending both Balayage and color mastery classes in SoHo at the L’Oreal Professional Academy. She is also a member of the Kerastase Ambassador team. April has become a favorite of the guests of Bisoux, and is passionate about Balayage!
Allison Hood / Colorist
Ever since childhood, Alli has had a fascination with hair and beauty. She began her dream career early by attending cosmetology school immediately after high school. Alli furthered her goals at a black elite L’oreal professional/Kerastase salon in Western Massachusetts, completing 2 1/2 years of intense training with top stylists, mastering cutting techniques, and perfecting the mastery of color and highlighting, as well as blow dry styling and updos. In 2013, Alli earned her chair, fully immersing herself in the profession and devoting herself to helping her clients look and feel beautiful. She worked for 7 1/2 years before coming to Bisoux, and during that time period took every opportunity she could to excel in her career.Education is a priority for Alli, and she has continued to foster her passion by taking classes taught by L’oreal platform artists Jennifer Macdougall, Joseph Diamaggio and Chad Gunn. She moved from Massachusetts to the D.C. Metro area in May 2017, bringing with her a drive and a determination to be a master of her career. She is now continuing to fulfill her passion as a colorist here at Bisoux.
