Philippe has come to realize his true passion since opening Salon Bisoux, which he describes as having “provided me with endless opportunities for my creativity. Every day I meet great people who change my life. It was behind the chair that I met my wife, Krista. I get to to touch people’s lives. I believe it is my responsibility as a leader to shape the next generation of hairdressers — to meet and mentor excited, aspiring individuals who will become the leaders of tomorrow in my industry”.

Philippe began his career in an apprenticeship in 1985. He landed at Jean-Louis Desforges International Academy in Paris, France where he became the youngest instructor in the company at the age of 20. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work with numerous celebrities, clothing designers, political figures and celebrity hairdressers. He has participated in New York Fashion Week with Marchesa, Thakoon, Zac Posen, Altuzarra and Jason Wu and NY Bridal Fashion Week with Monique Lhullier. His television work included Fashion Emergency! On E! Entertainment and the Larry King Show. He became a Platform artist and educator for Kérastase in 2014.

Philippe curated his signature style by working with Oscar Bond, Cristophe, Vivienne MacKinder, Matthew Morris, Orlando Pita, Sonya Dove, Christopher Dove, Bruno Pittini and Odile Gilbert.

Philippe is certified in Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy. He has completed advanced courses at the Academy Ramirez Tran and Acadamie Jean Louis Deforges, as well as workshops by Vivian Mackinder and Loreal Paris Professional.
