Master Colorist

In her work as a hair colorist, Krista, a Washington D.C. native, has found a perfect balance between the artistic expression of hair color and a proclivity towards science. As a teen modeling for hair magazines and photo shoots, Krista had the privilege of working with celebrated hairdressers, an experience that ignited her passion for the industry. She is blessed with the best clients a colorist could ask for-Washington movers and shakers, and everybody in between.

She started her career in Georgetown at Bruno Dessange at the age of 22. She joined the team of celebrity stylist, Cristophe, at his downtown DC salon where she spent 18 years working as a master colorist in Salon Bisoux. Krista is excited to have a place of her own with her stylist husband, Philippe.

Krista is a celebrated colorist and has been featured as a “Master Colorist” in Byrdie, as one of “Six DC Style-Setters” by DC Modern Luxury, “Best Colorist” in Allure magazine, “A Who’s Who of Colorist’s” in Town and Country, as well as a “Top Colorist” in Washingtonian Magazine. She has been featured on “Fashion Emergency” on E! Entertainment, the BBC channel, Discovery Health, and MTV. In 2024, Bisoux’s color department had the honor to be voted “Best Color” in Northern Virginia Magazine.

Krista attended Graham Webb Academy and has her certification from L’Oreal Professional as a Balayage Artist, as well as her Master Colorist certification from the American Board of Certified Hair Colorists.
